Hi! I’m Shannon, mom of two amazing kids, Chelsea and Jules, born 21 years apart!

My FIT4MOM story began in Maryland when Jules was just six weeks old. I was looking for connection with other moms, movement, and a community during a brand-new season of motherhood—and I found all three at Stroller Strides. I was hooked from the start. I later joined Body Well, where I became stronger, healthier, and even more connected to the FIT4MOM mission.

When I moved to Northern Virginia in 2014, I knew I wanted to bring that same experience to other moms. I opened FIT4MOM in Lorton and quickly expanded into Springfield, Burke, Woodbridge, and Kingstowne.

For 12 years, I had the privilege of growing and leading FIT4MOM Southwest NoVA, building an incredible community of moms, kids, instructors, and friendships. Along the way, our franchise grew to rank among the Top 20 FIT4MOM franchises in the nation—an accomplishment I’m incredibly proud of, but even more meaningful are the thousands of moments of connection, strength, support, and motherhood shared along the way.

In September 2026, I passed the ownership torch to begin my next chapter, but FIT4MOM will always be part of my story. I’m grateful to remain connected to the community that gave me exactly what I needed all those years ago—and ultimately gave me the opportunity to create that same space for so many others.
