Who are the members of your family and where are you originally from? I am married to Jeremy and we have Hudson (4) and Hannah (1). I grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana.
When was your first Fit4Mom class and what do you remember about it? I was in rough shape after having my second baby and struggled to find a program that met the challenges of a postpartum physique. I went to a class at Burke Lake and absolutely LOVED the ladies, the babies, and the fact that the workout was exactly what my body needed!
Where can we find you? What is your Fit4Mom routine these days? I’m all over the map! I love how I can easily create a weekly schedule that works best for the weather and fits in some essential errands as well!
What is your current job? Or what did you do before staying at home (if you don’t currently work outside the home)? I never thought I would be a full-time mom and think I have somehow turned this into an extreme sport! Lol - Before this I was in Marketing for Discovery Communications’ family of Streaming apps.
What are 3 of your favorite things? Chocolate, naps, and a good brunch.
You are given 4 hours of FREE babysitting. What would you do? Yoga and a pedicure.
What has being a mom taught you? That we are all doing our best to figure it out so take it one step at a time.
What is your funniest or most embarrassing mommy moment so far? Getting pooped on at a Nats game and having to walk all the way around the park to buy a new outfit!
Any words of wisdom for other moms? Breathe and stretch.
What is your favorite thing about FIT4MOM? What would you tell someone thinking about joining? It’s a village of so many amazing mamas coming together to take care of themselves and end up taking care of each other.
