Motivating Mom of the Month-February 2023: Danielle Morris

"Danielle is amazing! She always comes to class ready to work with a smile on her face. She has a knack for bringing everyone in the group together and I love it!! With baby number two on the way, she still makes it a priority to come to class. You are a rockstar Danielle!!" -Jessica, Fit4Mom Instructor

"Nothing brightens a day like seeing Danielle's name on the roster, and you can always count on that! Since she started last year, Danielle is such a staple member of our Woodbridge village. She always has a smile and positive attitude. Plus, seeing Johnny take his 3 deep breathes is the cutest part of class!" -Kara, Fit4Mom Instructor

Who are the members of your family and where are you originally from?

My family includes my husband, myself, my two and a half year old Johnny, and expecting our second boy, Tyler, April 1st. I also have two fur kitties. Originally from Colorado. Met my husband while he was stationed there in 2016. He is active duty Coast Guard and has 5 more years until retirement, when we will most likely move back to Colorado.

When was your first Fit4Mom class and what do you remember about it?

It was almost a year ago. Mid March, I believe. I remember thinking it was pretty intense, met lots of new cool ladies. And because Shannon was teaching, was really sore the next couple of days.

Where can we find you? What is your Fit4Mom routine these days?

I do Monday and Fridays at Potomac Mills and might try some Thursdays at Burke Lake now that the weather is warming up.

What is your current job? Or what did you do before staying at home (if you don’t currently work outside the home)?

Stay at home mom. Have a degree in elementary education and worked previously in merchandising.

What are 3 of your favorite things?

3 favorite things are coffee, sunshine, and reading a good book.

You are given 4 hours of FREE babysitting. What would you do?

With free babysitting I would get my hair or nails done, maybe even a massage! Or go and see a movie in theaters and eat all the popcorn!

What has being a mom taught you?

Being a mom has taught me patience and the value of alone time. Don't take alone time for granted, even if that means you binge watch your favorite show or pee without an audience!

What is your favorite thing about FIT4MOM? What would you tell someone thinking about joining?

Of course my favorite thing about fit 4 mom is meeting all the other lovely ladies. Girls nights and field trips are always such a blast and have helped me learn more about the area. Plus, staying active always makes me feel better at the end of the day!
